ALI Group in lead generation agreement with fintech

Loan protection specialist ALI Group has partnered with HashChing to provide mortgage brokers with access to a consistent source of new leads. The partnership will now provide ALI authorised mortgage brokers the opportunity to use their ALI reward points to access HashChing leads and client tools. “We’re excited to partner with HashChing to help brokers build their business. Banks must partner to win disruption battle

Colin Barnard, industry leader for finance at Google Australia, has some good news for the nation’s banks. “I don’t think Google ever really wants to become a bank,” he told The Australian Financial Review Banking and Wealth Summit in Sydney on Wednesday. But Mr Barnard also had a warning for financial services companies that believe they can see off the army of disrupters on their own. “You can partner and become rich, or you can be lonely and be poor, and eventually die,” he said. H2 Ventures announces new startups following fresh funding

The co-founder of fintech accelerator H2 Ventures, Toby Heap, has warned Australia’s big four banks that they are underestimating the wave of digital disruption taking place in their sector, as it announces its next intake of hopeful startups. Broker platform hits $2bn milestone

An online portal that connects brokers with borrowers has doubled the value of loans negotiated through the platform in only three months. HashChing reached its first $1 billion loan milestone within a year of operation.
