Under a pilot program to be rolled out across the Philippines, Peppermint will facilitate and offer Bizmoto agents a finance and insurance package that helps them to buy a suitable motorcycle to be supplied by TVS Global Automobile Traders FZCO (“TVS”) via a locally registered wholesale dealer in the Philippines. Peppermint to receive $1.5m via placement to strategic Fintech investor Smidge Digital Unit Trust
Peppermint Innovation Ltd (ASX: PIL) announce continued strategic and funding support from Smidge Digital Unit Trust (SDUT) with a further investment into Peppermint of $1.5 million. The investment was transacted via a share placement of 60,000,000 shares to SDUT at 2.5 cents per share and represents a 32% premium to PIL’s last traded price of 1.7 cents. ASX-listed Peppermint Innovation registers more than 5,000 Bizmoto agents in the Philippines
Peppermint Innovation Limited announces that to date more than 5,000 agents have signed up to its Bizmoto network in the Philippines. Having launched the Bizmoto agent network in late May followed by a preliminary digital marketing drive which started on August 23, the Philippines operations team had registered 5,000 Bizmoto agents as of the end of last week. The agents are now being on-boarded and trained in how to deliver the various Bizmoto services, including mobile banking, mobile eLoad, bill/product payment and money transfers.
