ASX-listed DomaCom Limited (ASX:DCL) has today announced that it has partnered with La Trobe Financial to provide property investors using DomaCom’s fractional property investment fund with a credit facility. An initial A$50 million facility has been provided by La Trobe Financial that will allow investors to acquire approximately A$100 million of leveraged property through the DomaCom Fund. The facility will provide up to 60% leverage for investors and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) at a competitive 5.99% pa. ASX-listed DomaCom has taken its fractional property investing platform to the bush after tying up a partnership with rural start-up Cultivate Farms. Under the arrangement, Cultivate Farms will source appropriate properties from farmers looking to retire and match these to aspiring or next generation farmers with DomaCom providing the investment capital through its crowdfunding platform. Property crowdfunding firm DomaCom and a number of private lenders have partnered to provide the DomaCom Fund with an initial lending line of $100 million. DomaCom Australia Ltd (ASX:DCL) has successfully completed the crowdfunding campaign to fund its first mortgage backed loan. The company’s online platform provides an opportunity for investors to invest in residential and commercial property across Australia through the fractional acquisition of units in a trust. Newcastle based financial advice firm Shartru Wealth Management used the DomaCom platform to acquire a $1.6 million residential property in Melbourne using both debt and equity. One of the major real estate platforms has entered an agreement with DomaCom which will see its property listings integrated into DomaCom’s crowdfunding platform. In an ASX announcement, DomaCom said it has entered an agreement with Domain which will connect Domain’s vast property listing data with DomaCom’s crowdfunding technology. The agreements will also see Domain’s market intelligence integrated into the DomaCom Crowdfunding platform in order to provide analytics to investors. Fractional property investment company DomaCom has struck a deal to gain access to the CoreLogic – Moody’s Analytics Australian Forecast Home Value Index. The partnership will allow DomaCom to create “highly targeted, research-backed residential property investment strategies for independent financial advisers and direct investors”, DomaCom said in a statement.
