Research shows that budgeting and cashflow management the top advice priority for younger Australians
Younger people overwhelmingly rank budgeting and cashflow management as the most valuable type of financial advice they can receive, according to a recent ING and Rice Warner survey of more than 1000 Australians. Gen Z (66 per cent), Gen Y (60 per cent) and Gen X (40 per cent) all cited budgeting and cashflow management as more valuable than holistic advice and retirement planning advice, according to the report. Baby Boomers understandably rated retirement planning as their most valued advice service (more than 45%), however almost 30 per cent said budgeting and cashflow management services was most valuable. Aura Venture Fund backs fintech Integrated Portfolio Solutions as it targets SMSF and investors
Integrated Portfolio Solutions, a start-up that has built a platform to help investors keep control of self-managed super and investments, has raised $3 million to fuel ambitious growth plans, which it says will lead to it having $5 billion in funds under administration within the next five years. Aura Group’s $30 million venture fund led a syndicate of investors in the $3 million raise, which will support IPS’ development of an integrated customer resource management, self-managed superannuation fund reporting and investment platform. Moneysoft expands team with eight new appointments
Moneysoft has appointed eight new staff in response to growing demand for its suite of personal financial management solutions. This expansion boosts Moneysoft’s frontline account management and client service teams including increased support capability.
