Trading to National Stock Exchange available on IRESS
IRESS and the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) today announced that clients of IRESS will be able to trade securities listed on the NSX through IRESS. The introduction of trading through IRESS builds on the existing market data feed of NSX securities available through IRESS. IRESS readies industry for Fair and Sustainable Superannuation reforms
Financial technology provider IRESS says that just two months out from the introduction of new superannuation laws, administrators and financial advisers should now be in the final stages of preparation. The superannuation laws, known as the Fair & Sustainable Superannuation reforms, introduce new tax concessions, a $1.6 million transfer balance cap, the removal of the tax exemptions for Transition to Retirement pensions and a new system of ‘catch-up’ concessional contributions to assist those with broken work patterns. IRESS’ technology investment increases to meet demand
Listed Australian fintech IRESS predicts a continued increase in its product and technology investment as it meets growing client demand in Australia and internationally. IRESS is one of Australia’s largest financial technology businesses with offices in Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand. It employs more than 1,750 people. IRESS today announced revenue for 2016 of $389.7 million, up 8% on 2015. Reported net profit after tax was up 7%.
