“Change is accelerating in banking; there will be winners and losers,” says Frost

“Change is coming fast in the finance sector, driven by technology that radically changes the banking landscape; we see new partnerships, new services and new players in the Australian finance eco-system, and there will be winners as well as losers,” says Glen Frost, the founder and organiser of the upcoming FinTech Summit.

Frost suggests the winners are those that partner fast, adapt new business models, adapt to lean and agile headcounts, and use Ai and machine learning to improve services and reduce headcount.

“Competition will radically increase in the next two to three years, and the market will be unforgiving; there are many new well-funded hungry competitors chasing customers; the establishment will need to take the medicine and change fast,” added Frost.

These changes will be covered at the upcoming FinTech Summit next week.
