Customers can ask Ashlee chatbot specific questions about their account or the financial markets and get general customer support. Raiz, which until recently was known as Acorns, is a micro-investing platform aimed at Australians aged 18 to 35. Raiz allows people to invest small amounts in the stock market using a smartphone app. Over 500,000 people have signed up to Raiz since it launched in February 2016, though only 164,000 of those are active users. Raiz Invest to list on ASX with a $120m valuation

Raiz Invest, the micro-investment fintech, has lodged a prospectus with the corporate regulator for a June float in a deal that will value the start-up at around $120 million. As flagged by The Australian Financial Review’s Street Talk column last week, the initial public offering for Raiz, formerly known as Acorns Grow Australia, will raise just over $15 million. The initial public offerings are starting to flow thick and fast out of Bell Potter Securities. Next up is a $15.1 million raising for fintech Raiz Invest Ltd which, if successful, would see the company list with a $119.2 million market capitalisation next month. Acorns Australia rebrands to Raiz Invest

Acorns Australia has rebranded to Raiz Invest, a move that follows the company’s announcement in February to divest from Acorns.
