Swyftx extends its sponsorship of the Brisbane Lions
Australia’s most popular cryptocurrency exchange Swyftx has extended its partnership with the Brisbane Lions as the club’s official trading platform partner.
The two-year partnership extension will also see Brisbane-based Swyftx featured on the sleeve of Club’s media polo and training tees.
Swyftx was founded by school friends Alex Harper (29) and Angus Goldman (29) in 2018. The exchange today has more than 700,000 customers, with billions of dollars traded on its platform each year.
Jason Titman (pictured left), Chief Operating Officer at Swyftx, heralded the partnership.
“The Lions are an iconic club and we’re very proud to be aligned with them and build a long term partnership of this strength,” said Titman.
“It’s great to support the Lions and be part of their journey. We all know what an exciting young squad Chris Fagan and Greg Swann have built over the last seven years.”
The new deal follows a two-year coaches sponsorship of the Lions by Swyftx and comes with an option to continue for a further season.
Brisbane Lions CEO, Greg Swann (pictured right) said it was fantastic to have Swyftx further partner with the Club after two years of being the Coaches’ sponsor.
“It’s extremely fitting for the Brisbane Lions to be extending our partnership with Swyftx, as we both pride ourselves on being industry leaders and delivering top performances,” Swann said.
“Over the past few years both Swyftx and the Lions have shown significant growth and we are excited to continue to help each other continue to do so over the next two years.”
The Lions appeared in last season’s grand final, which was watched by an estimated 3.06 million Australians. Around 28% of Brisbane adults either own, or have owned cryptocurrency.
