Navexa adds NAB, Westpac contract note automation

Australian-based portfolio tracking service Navexa last week launched Navexa Link, a new tool that enables customers to automatically update their account with new trades using contract notes from their broker.

Initially only available for Commsec customers, Navexa Link now supports two other major brokers’ contract notes — NAB and Westpac.

According to founder Navarre Trousselot, “our community have been amazing with their response to this new capability. We’ve had people from all across Australia getting in touch asking us to support their broker’s particular contract note format”.

“I’m pleased to report we have in the past week tripled the number of brokers Navexa supports by creating solutions for both NAB and Westpac contract notes.”

Trousselot said this collaborative approach to rolling out the Navexa Link tool fits with the fintech startup’s overall approach to developing its platform.

“We believe in listening to our customers. That might sound simplistic, but we’re on a mission to create a great portfolio tracking service and experience for as many customers as possible. So we start by asking them what they need and then work from there.”

This approach will continue with the platform’s Navexa Link tool.

Navexa is looking to support more brokers’ contract notes formats in the coming weeks, with ANZ, CMC Markets and Selfwealth likely the next to gain support on the platform.
