Navexa launches ‘Navexa Link’ trade automation

Australian-based portfolio tracking service Navexa has launched its new Navexa Link tool for users. This new part of Navexa’s offering gives its users the ability to automate trade updates between their broker and their Navexa account.

Initially available for Commsec customers, Navexa Link leverages the automated contract notes investors receive from their broker for every trade to automatically update their accounts with those trades.

Navexa founder Navarre Trousselot says “our customers have been asking for this capability for a while now and we’re excited to be rolling it out for them. Navexa Link is the latest step in our journey to creating a seamless portfolio tracking experience for our users — so far, the response has been really positive”.

Trousselot said Navexa Link gives users two main benefits.

First, they don’t need to manually enter information each time they make a trade. Rather, by opting into Navexa Link, their account effectively updates itself.

Second, they don’t need to hand over their brokerage account credentials to automate this process.

Navexa’s initial support for Commsec customers is set to expand rapidly to cater to the major Australian brokerages and the less-widely used.

Trousselot and his team are working with their customers to set up Navexa Link capability for additional brokerages as requests come in.
