Loyalty Now caps six months of innovation under new leadership with raft of customer wins and strategic hires and eyes APAC expansion
Leading frictionless loyalty technology company, Loyalty Now, has cemented its role as a market leader in the business to business (B2B) card linked offers (CLO) driven loyalty and rewards category, by launching innovative solutions, signing several strategic new customers, appointing key executive roles, and announcing two new group companies under its parent company Loyalty and Rewards International (LRI) within the space of six months.
Loyalty Now has been appointed the card linked loyalty solutions provider of choice with several new customers, including marquee names across key industry verticals like Qantas, Telstra and Bupa Benefit Pocket. Committed to creating value for merchants and loyalty program operators, Loyalty Now is helping them drive change on both an individual and social level. Against the backdrop of the rising cost of living, Loyalty Now can help key customers across industries, including travel, banking and financial services, telecommunication, corporate social responsibility (CSR), to deliver greater value to customers and merchants alike.
Anurag Vasisth, Group CEO, LRI, said, “Loyalty Now is thrilled to announce its partnerships with market leading customers. We are committed to helping businesses and customers alike reap the rewards of frictionless loyalty programs and are excited to embark on a new journey with these household name brands.”
In response to this changing demand, LRI has also announced the evolution of two new companies under its group banner, designed to deliver a full end-to-end loyalty and rewards service for customers. Loyalty Now Services has been announced as the group’s centre of excellence for end-to-end merchant services and will provide the entire gamut of services, from strategic partnerships to onboarding and technical integration. In addition, Loyalty Now Payments has been established to provide customised B2B incentive and reward payment solutions. Loyalty Now Payments will also power embedded payment solutions for Loyalty Now Services and Loyalty Now.
Anurag Vasisth said, “After six months of laser-focused innovation and growth, Loyalty Now has successfully moved from being a start-up to the enviable position of a scale up. We identified a significant gap in the market for a full end-to-end service for card-linked loyalty and rewards programs and committed to innovate to solve this challenge for customers and provide a ‘best in class CLO solution’.”
To support its sustained growth in the market, Loyalty Now continues to scale and expand its team, making appointments in key roles to help the company capitalise on its success and bolster its sustained expansion across Australia and the wider Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Following the appointment of Anurag Vasisth to the position of Group CEO with parent company LRI in April 2022, Loyalty Now has continued its strong growth trajectory with three strategic new appointments. Rick Hansen has been appointed to the role of chief operating officer (COO), bringing more than 30 years of industry expertise and excellence in operations management with brands such as Telstra and Brightstar to the role. Adam Pointon has been appointed to the role of chief technology officer (CTO), bringing with him more than 20 years of relevant expertise, excelling in technology and information security with brands like Praemium. Ryan De Boer has been appointed to the key role of head of merchant services, moving from his prior role as head of retail partnerships with Qantas, amongst others.
Anurag Vasisth said, “The appointments of Rick, Adam, and Ryan to the Loyalty Now team demonstrates the company’s continued growth in Australia and further afield. Loyalty Now is thrilled to welcome them to the team and, with the support of these experienced industry stalwarts, we will continue our evolution into the next horizon of growth – Loyalty Now 2.0.”
In addition, the company has seen a 300 per cent increase in developers as it continues to grow and restructure its flourishing technology team. With the support of its burgeoning team, Loyalty Now is well positioned to continue its rapid growth as it continues to expand across APAC, including into Singapore and Hong Kong. With its sustained expansion, the company remains committed to delivering secure solutions that meet regulatory compliance needs in each market.
Anurag Vasisth said, “Loyalty Now is committed to driving business for merchants while delivering greater value to customers and the end-user. As the company continues to expand, so too does its unwavering commitment to innovation. As part of Loyalty Now’s ongoing development and evolution, the company’s solutions bring security to the fore for customers, merchants, and program operators alike to ensure that all value is delivered and protected to the highest possible level.
“Central to Loyalty Now’s operations is customer trust, and cybersecurity and protecting financial data is critical to the organisation.
