LightYear Docs rebrands to LYD, enters into Heads of Agreements and launches in NZ

LightYear Group have announced that it has entered into separate heads of agreements with both its external legal partner, Abbott & Mourly Lawyers, and its service provider, Legal Back Office Pty Ltd, to acquire their businesses.

Group CEO, Michael Jeffriess said, “The acquisition of both these businesses will not only be earnings accretive for the Group, but more importantly allow us to further strengthen our overall offer to market.”

The acquisitions are set to be finalised on or before 31 August 2024.

LightYear Docs rebrands to LYD

LightYear Docs has announced a rebrand from LightYear Docs to LYD.

Group CEO, Michael Jeffriess added, “We are thrilled to unveil our refreshed brand identity. The name LightYear Docs will still be part of our ethos, but we now have a shortened version as part of the evolution of LightYear Docs as we look to further expand into new locations.”

LYD entering New Zealand market

LYD has announced that is has completed its due diligence and finalised its setup in New Zealand. LYD will commence working with New Zealand accountants and advisors in relation to the provision of online New Zealand legal documents.
