Diversiview is expanding to allow portfolio optimisation with unlisted products

Australian fintech LENSELL is expanding its flagship application Diversiview to include over 70 unlisted products on the platform.

Many investors rely on unlisted and alternative investments as a powerful way to achieve growth, diversify across a wider range of investments along with their listed investments, and reduce portfolio risk.

With the global market for alternative investments predicted to reach $18.3 trillion in five years, more and more investors are looking to have a mix of securities, cash, bonds, term deposits etc as well as alternative investments (private equity, hedge funds, managed funds, digital assets etc.). The aim is to balance each other’s volatility and sustain the portfolio during difficult market phases.

Diversiview now has more than 70 unlisted investment funds and alternative investments available for analysis on the Diversiview platform. This means users can now analyse mixed portfolios and optimise their asset allocations – this is a feature unique on the market.

How does this help you?

If you have, or plan to have alternative investments in your portfolio, you want to know at least three things:

  • how are your investments (listed and unlisted) expected to perform?
  • how well diversified your portfolio is between listed and unlisted investments?
  • how can you allocate your money best, so you can get the highest total return for your set of mixed investments?

Alternative investments generally offer a good diversification for your portfolio, but this should not be taken as a blanket statement. Instead, you need to validate the real diversification at investment level.

Do you know how your portfolio of mixed investments is really expected to perform? Start on the right foot – analyse it and then optimise it if needed, so you can have the best chances to a good return long term.

Check out a couple of examples, on how you can check the diversification of your mixed portfolio and how optimisation of the asset allocation places you in a better risk-return position going forward.

The team will continue to add more unlisted managed funds and other alternative investments onto Diversiview. If you have suggestions for products that are of interest to you, or if you have any questions, please contact the team at [email protected].
