Australia’s favourite everyday department store Kmart switches on Zip
Kmart customers will now be able to pay with Zip when shopping online with Australia’s home of everyday low prices.
From the end of May, shoppers will be able to select Zip for flexible, interest-free repayments when they shop online with the iconic Aussie brand.
The credit card disruptor will give Kmart customers the opportunity to spread the cost of their purchase over a number of weeks, with no upfront payment and a repayment plan that suits them either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Zip CEO and Managing Director, Larry Diamond said, “We’re thrilled to partner with one of Australia’s most iconic brands to offer an alternative method of payment to customers. We know Aussies love Kmart; it’s no secret that it’s hard to shop at Kmart without walking away with a full basket, even online. With Zip, we’re providing customers with a better way to pay for their everyday purchases.”
Kmart Director of Retail Australia & New Zealand, John Gualtieri said, “At Kmart, we’re on a mission to make everyday living brighter for Australian families. Whether we’re creating on-trend products at everyday low-prices, extending opening hours to make shopping more convenient for customers or opening stores in new communities, we want to make shopping more accessible to more people.
“This is why we are excited to announce our new partnership with Zip, which gives our customers more flexibility and convenience when shopping with us online.”
Zip gives consumers the power to own what they love today, and pay for it over time, interest-free. More than 1.2 million Australians are already reaping the rewards of a better way to pay with Zip, with the ability to shop at more than 14,000 partners and growing.
