Australian fintechs well represented in the Finder Innovation Awards 2021

Australia’s most forward-thinking and cutting-edge businesses have been recognised in the 2021 Finder Awards.

The Finder Innovation Awards celebrate the excellence, creativity and impact of initiatives introduced in the past 12 months.

Australian fintechs have again featured heavily, with 8 winners coming from the 27 categories.

Submissions across the 27 key innovation categories were scored by a judging panel of 46 industry heavy-hitters including experts from Deakin University, Australian Investment Council, Australian FinTech, and the Australian Tourism Industry Council.

Chris Ellis, CEO of Finder Australia, said innovation is crucial for the acceleration of business growth, stating, “Companies that are rapidly evolving to meet consumer needs are prospering from sustainable customer and revenue growth.

“With so many Australian innovations flying underneath the radar we believe it’s important to celebrate the brands that are willing to push the envelope.

“These are the companies to look out for, and I’m excited to see what breakthrough products and services they deliver next.”

The innovation categories form part of the broader Finder Awards program, Australia’s largest and most comprehensive awards program, which also includes product, green and customer satisfaction categories.
