ASX-listed Praemium reveals ‘new look’ executive team
Praemium’s Chief Executive Officer Anthony Wamsteker has announced that Rachel Axton (pictured) will be joining Praemium on 17 July 2023 in the role of Chief Governance and Risk Officer and report directly to him.
Wamsteker said, “Rachel will be a tremendous addition to our Executive Leadership Team. She will lead our Risk Management, Compliance, Company Secretarial, Legal, Outsourcing and Supplier Management activities. This appointment will bolster Praemium’s risk management bench strength at a time when challenges in areas such as cyber security have never been greater.”
Rachel was previously the Chief Governance Officer, Netwealth and has over 25 years of experience in financial services working across a range of wealth management providers.
Rachel Axton’s appointment completes a full refresh of Praemium’s executive team, which was commenced when Anthony Wamsteker was appointed permanent CEO on 12 August 2021. In the intervening period, the following executive appointments were made:
Chief Financial Officer – David Coulter
Chief Commercial Officer (now Chief Product Officer) – James Edmonds
Chief Strategy Officer, including responsibility for Distribution and all client facing Operations activity – Denis Orrock
Head of People and Culture – Angela Godfrey
Chief Technology Officer – Richard Large
