Technology company expensemanager announces rebrand to ProSpend and launch of a new product – Virtual Cards

expensemanager, Australia’s very first locally developed spend management platform, made 2 major announcements in the recent past:

  • They have rebranded and now operate as ProSpend
  • The successful addition of a Payments and Cards Module to their platform

The founder of ProSpend, Sharon Nouh, recognised at a very early stage that businesses needed a single platform to manage and automate all spend – and she has built just that.

Sharon Nouh, CEO and Founder of ProSpend said, “I bootstrapped my vision, and I could not be prouder of where we are today.  We are a little different in the Australian tech space, being female led in a predominately male industry and not backed by VC money.  The secret to our growth has been always listening to our customers, delivering innovative products that solve their real business problems and having a passionate team of forward-looking industry leaders with comprehensive knowledge of financial software and technology expertise.

I’m grateful for the support from everyone on our team who believe in our product and vision, the partnership with Head Over Heels and their connections and Lighter Capital who have backed our growth with access to non-dilutive capital.

From first being a pioneer in expense management with our beta customer Kentucky Fried Chicken (who are still a customer today) to now being a leader in the business spend management market and serving more than 500 customers across Australia and New Zealand.  Our new name is reflective of our journey and evolution. The name ProSpend truly captures our proactive and professional approach as a spend management company.”

When ProSpend say they are a complete business spend management platform they can back up that statement.  The platform modules include expense management, Accounts Payable Automation, Purchase Orders, Budgets, FBT Management, eInvoicing, Trip Reconciliation and now a payments module that includes Virtual Cards.

All of their modules have been built with the features that the mid to bigger businesses need like multi-entity options, complex workflows and approvals and API integrations to all of the major ERP’s in the market, like MYOB, Sage Intaact, Reckon, Xero, Netsuite, Wiise and Business Central.

ProSpend’s recently launched Virtual Card’s module is one of the most thorough and comprehensive products in the market. ProSpend customers benefit from uniquely tailored cards, real-time transaction reporting, global coverage, enhanced security features, instant controls and much more.

Leo Dreyer, Sales Director at ProSpend said, “What sets us apart in the market with our Virtual Card module is that it is backed by our leading expense management platform, so our clients get a new spend method without compromising their spend program.”
