SuperConcepts celebrates anniversary of redeveloped SuperMate Software

Specialist self-managed super fund (SMSF) software provider SuperConcepts is celebrating the first anniversary of the relaunch of their completely redeveloped and modernised software, SuperMate.

SuperMate makes SMSF processing easier, faster, and more accurate, saving accountants time and improving their service offering.

The software currently supports over 40,000 funds and, since launching in February 2022, has automatically extracted over 250,000 bank transactions from paper statements using Data HeroTM, saving users months of manual data entry.

Daniel Silvestri of Silvestri Chartered Accountants was one of the first users to make the switch to SuperMate and said, “We’re very impressed, our staff and clients are saying it’s a vast improvement on our previous software provider.”

“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone,” said Andy Forbes, Chief Technology Officer at SuperConcepts, “SuperMate is now a comprehensive solution for SMSF and portfolio administration that helps practices be more efficient than ever.”

Whilst the web-based iteration of SuperMate is new, SuperConcepts have been delivering SMSF administration software for over 25 years, launching SuperVisor II in 1998 followed by SuperMate Classic in 2009.

“Our software is built for accountants, by accountants, using their decades of experience to implement features and rethink processes for real-world efficiency gains,” Forbes said.

To celebrate this anniversary, SuperConcepts has revealed several important initiatives for 2023.

“The new and improved features centre around automation, our intuitive interface, and fast point-to-point administration. I’m very excited to debut our re-imagined trustee portal that will introduce new ways for users to engage with their clients. In addition, we’re working on first-class property processing including automated property valuations and greater document and audit provider integration,” Forbes said.

SuperConcepts also announced that they are in advanced discussions with an Open Banking partner and plan to bring this to clients in 2023.  Open Banking will make it easier for SMSF trustees to provide their bank account data and will also expand the total number of data feeds supported by SuperMate.
