Australian FinTech Jobs hits the ground running

Australia’s only fintech employment platform, Australian FinTech Jobs, had barely launched when it made news around the world.

Within 48 hours of the website’s launch, the employment platform made the press in New York, London, throughout Australia and across various other international business websites.

“It’s very, very early days, but the positive feedback we’ve receiving is overwhelming,” says CEO Cameron Dart, “we are a bit surprised by the amount of support but obviously a dedicated employment site like this was need for Fintech in Australia.”

In just over 4 weeks, more than 75 Fintech companies and recruitment firms have registered to use Australian FinTech Jobs.

To date, some of the biggest Fintech companies in Australia have jumped onboard posting Fintech roles, including ASX-listed IRESS, global award winner Avoka, peer-to-peer lender RateSetter and leading online business lender Prospa.

“We’re having jobs posted and candidates are applying within an hour or two of the ad going up, so we’re pretty happy with that! But more importantly, so is the advertiser!” said Co-Founder Rob James.

Dart continues, “The other real surprise to us is that over 200 candidates have already registered on the site. We estimated this would take months to achieve that sort of growth, but it’s happened in 4 weeks.”

The teams’ main site, Australian FinTech, has just produced a record month with 15,000 unique users visiting the site in the month of August. “Our aim is to push as much of that traffic through to the new jobs website and it’s beginning to work. Not a bad start for a month-old company.”
