The UAE, for one, is rolling out a two-phase e-invoicing mandate, with the first to roll out in July 2025.
Recognising the success of e-invoice exchange and the fully-digitised public procurement platform (DPP) at the national level, including initiatives led by Dubai authorities to achieve a paperless government in 2021, the move towards mandatory B2B e-invoicing aligns seamlessly with the region’s commitment to comprehensive digital transformation.
