Revolut appoints Australian Advisory Board
Revolut, the global fintech company with 16 million retail customers worldwide, announces the creation of an Advisory Board for its Australian business, Revolut Payments Australia (Revolut Australia). Rob Goudswaard has been appointed as Advisory Board Chair, with Mike Cutter and Dee McGrath joining as Advisors.
On the appointments, Matt Baxby, CEO of Revolut Australia said, “Our new Advisory Board lays down a strong foundation for our future governance as we rapidly scale our business and expand our product offering. Each member of our new Advisory Board brings with them decades of expertise across technology, banking and financial services, and with their appointments we are confident that we’re set up for success to accelerate our business growth here in Australia.”

Rob Goudswaard brings a significant breadth of experience to Revolut Australia’s Advisory Board with over 40 years in commercial and retail banking across the listed, government-owned and mutual sectors. He is the former CEO of CUA (now Great Southern Bank) and a former Non Executive Director of Cuscal Limited. He currently serves as an Independent Non Executive Director for a range of local and international businesses including Centelon, AmBank, Cashrewards, and Lawson Grains. He also chairs the Board of Cornerstone Healthcare Property Fund as well as the Orygen Foundation, and is an Executive Advisor to Sportech Industries.
Dee McGrath joins the Advisory Board with extensive experience in consulting, financial services and technology. Dee is currently a Divisional CEO of Link Group, Australia’s leading provider of technology and services to the superannuation industry. Prior to that, she was Managing Partner and the Vice President of Financial Services for IBM. She is also a former VP for Visa and former VP of Financial Services for HP Enterprise Services. She is also a member of the Board of Smart Pension UK and a member of Chief Executive Women.
Mike Cutter has been appointed to the Advisory Board and brings over 32 years of global experience in retail banking and financial services. Mike is currently the Chair and Non Executive Director of Arteva Funding, and Non Executive Director for Pepper Money and ASX-listed BNPL platform, Sezzle. He has previously served as the Group Managing Director in APAC for Equifax, the CEO of OAMPS Insurance Brokers and was formerly the President and CEO of GE Money Australia and New Zealand.
