Prospa named Fintech Lender of the Year at MFAA National Excellence Awards
Prospa, Australia’s #1 online lender to small business, has been recognised as the top Fintech Lender at the MFAA National Excellence Awards, for the second year in a row.
The MFAA National Excellence Awards, held in Melbourne on Thursday night, celebrate excellence in the mortgage and finance industry, with a focus on customer service, professionalism, innovation and ethics. The national win follows Prospa’s earlier clean sweep of the Fintech Lender Award across all state and territory awards.
Prospa’s Erin Manhood was a finalist for National Business Development Manager – Lender/Support Services, after winning her category at the SA/NT state awards. Team members Dave Robertson, Simon Winters and Ben Howell were also recognised as finalists in the WA, QLD, and NSW/ACT state awards.
Prospa’s Executive General Manager of Business and Sales Development, Matt Bauld said, “We’re honoured to be recognised as the industry’s fintech partner of choice, not just at a national level but in every state and territory across Australia. To receive this award two years in a row, and to have our individual BDMs celebrated in the community, is a huge achievement.
“Thank you to the broker community and to the MFAA for their continued support of the fintech category. Our broker partners are a vital part of Prospa. Together we’re transforming how small business owners access finance in Australia, making it simpler, faster and providing great customer experiences. We’ve already delivered over $1 billion in funding to more than 19,000 small businesses, but this is just the beginning.”
MFAA Head of Marketing and Communications, Stephen Hale said, “The Fintech Lender category recognises the sector’s increasingly important role in supporting the broker community and helping brokers to diversify and grow their business. We’re thrilled to recognise Prospa with the Fintech Lender of the Year Award for the second year in a row.
“This national award, and Prospa’s clean sweep across all states, is a testament to the strong partnerships Prospa has developed with brokers across the country.”
Prospa has 8,900 intermediary partners and has delivered more than $1 billion in funding to over 19,000 small businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
