Prospa named as finalist in Telstra Business Awards for third year in a row

For the third year running, Prospa, Australia’s leading online lender to small business, is proud to have been named as a finalist in the Telstra Business Awards.

Prospa is a finalist in the NSW Medium Business category, having grown significantly since 2015 when the company was first shortlisted for the Small Business Award. Over the past five years, Prospa has transformed the way small business owners experience finance, injecting more than $350m into the Australian small business economy through over 10,000 loans to small business owners. Alongside this growth, Prospa has maintained extremely high customer satisfaction of over 90%, as well as forming strategic partnerships with Westpac, Reckon and IAG, enabling easier access to finance for small businesses across the country.

In their 25th year, the Telstra Business Awards are nationally recognised for showcasing the most inspiring small and medium businesses in Australia, rewarding the innovation and passion of Australia’s business owners.

Beau Bertoli, joint CEO of Prospa, comments: “We’ve achieved this standard three years in a row because we have the right culture, attention to detail, care for our customers and people, and a clear purpose behind our work to solve problems for small business owners. Prospa’s success relies on the success of our customers, and we’re honoured to be recognised as one of the top medium-sized businesses in NSW.”

Greg Moshal, joint CEO of Prospa, adds: “As one of the country’s fastest growing technology companies, we are committed to supporting the growth and success of the 2 million small businesses across Australia. Our whole team should be incredibly proud: the judges measure every area of the business from finance and operations to IT, product innovation and company culture. Every single team member has contributed to this achievement.”
