Nayax introduces new Multi-Billing Provider Solution with initial integration with AMEX Payment Gateway

Nayax is excited to announce our Multi-Billing Provider solution which enables higher acceptance rates for operators. The initial integration for the Australian market, is with the AMEX Payment Gateway for American Express and JCB credit cards only. First Data gateway is currently Nayax’s primary gateway in Australia. With this Multi-Billing Provider solution, Nayax will be sending all AMEX and JCB transaction to the secondary AMEX Payment Gateway, resulting in higher acceptance rates for these cards. The use of a Multi Billing Provider solution allows Nayax to send transactions from the same merchant, and from the same machine, to different gateways, as appropriate, depending on the card brand.

Currently the AMEX Payment Gateway integration supports both pre-authorization and pre-selection transaction flows with AMEX and JCB cards.

In Australia, approximately 15% of all transactions use AMEX and JCB. With Nayax’s upcoming firmware release, Nayax will be able to support AMEX, eftpos and JCB in Australia in all of our VPOS Touch cashless payment solution devices. To support our customers, and educate consumers, Nayax has been sending new payment stickers to all customers via post, to bring attention to these new payment options.

Nayax Australia is proud to be the first Nayax office implementing our new Multi-Billing Povider solution. This promises greater acceptance for our operators when accepting AMEX and JCB branded cards, resulting in fewer lost sales,” says Dylan Winik, Managing Director, Nayax Australia. “Nayax’s technological advances stem from a deep pool of talented in-house R&D and payment teams continually looking for ways to improve both customer and consumer experiences. We’re excited to offer the results of this hard work to our Australian merchants.
