Midwinter & PractiFI integrate to provide advisers with world class business management system

PractiFI and Midwinter Financial Services have today announced a software partnership which is set to streamline the financial planning advice process.

Through both systems’ open API, PractiFI, the business management platform for financial services, will seamlessly integrate with AdviceOS, Midwinter’s flagship financial planning software.

The integration provides users with connected access to both systems, allowing data to flow freely each way. It comes as demand is increasing for an industry specific CRM, which PractiFI offers with its Salesforce-based platform.

The integration synchronises rich client details between PractiFI and AdviceOS, removing the effort involved in duplicate data entry and the risk of error. It also allows advisers and paraplanners to launch AdviceOS directly from the single client view in PractiFI.

By unifying the client record for the adviser, efficiency and the quality of service is improved and the strategy modelling and advice generation processes for financial advice businesses are streamlined.

Midwinter has been forthright in their philosophy regarding open architecture software, believing that advisers of today need software systems that can speak to each other. PractiFI shares this same ethos, with their ever-growing financial services ecosystem. This allows for freedom of choice as well as eliminating the double entry of data across multiple systems.

Managing Director of Midwinter, Julian Plummer is delighted with the partnership saying “We continue to be the financial planning software provider with the broadest choice of API partners in the market, giving our clients genuine choice. By integrating with PractiFI we have opened-up the options further to include a world class CRM that speaks to our own state of the art modelling tools with ease.

“This integration was initially undertaken specifically for several major licensees (soon to be announced), and we expect more financial planning practices to follow the lead of combining our two solutions to develop cutting edge, streamlined advice.”

CEO of Practifi, Glen Elliott also welcomed the integration saying, “Our partnership with Midwinter is really exciting because it automates the advice process even further. It delivers on a core PractiFI objective: to bring massive efficiency gains to advice businesses”
