Lift Global Ventures set to take off with UK IPO
Lift Global Ventures, a financial media and technology-focused investment company led by well-known UK stock market commentator Zak Mir, is set to list on the Aquis Stock Exchange (AQSE) in London in the coming weeks.
With initial partnerships providing access to approximately 70,000 followers / investors / users, the company plans to cement these attractive numbers via a buy and build approach, investing in or acquiring synergistic businesses such as financial news websites, trading platforms and financial PR / IR agencies.
By aggregating the best financial market service providers, Lift believes it can generate significant value for its shareholders. A recent benchmark was provided by the proposed takeover of Interactive Investor (400,000 customers) for £1.5 billion (AUD$2.838 billion).
Whilst Lift’s operations will be UK-centric, it does have a global remit and is expected to be active in the Australian market. Lift may be of particular interest to Australian companies looking to raise capital or launch their product in the UK market.
The Company is currently raising approximately £1.7 million (AUD$3.217 million) before expenses by way of a placing of 56,666,667 ordinary shares at 3p (AUD$0.056) each through Novum Securities Limited, the Company’s AQSE corporate adviser and broker. The flotation is expected to value Lift at approximately £2.7 million (AUD$5.109 million).
