Investor Desk launches a premium digital investment service through its professionally managed thematic portfolios, enabled by OpenInvest’s online platform.
Elevated volatility in the current financial environment highlights the importance of a long-term investment mindset and accessing professional portfolio management. The Investor Desk Investment Committee specialises in guiding clients on their investing journey, comprising of Vijay Raj, Max Riaz, Pooja Tahiliani, Peter Turbach, Paul Ayton and Minsun Kim.
Investor Desk director Vijay Raj, stated that, “Our six portfolios meet rising client demand for a long-term professional investment solution, employing modern technology to give clients greater transparency. The minimum investment to get started is only $2,000, as we believe this entry level is ideal for prospective clients during any point of their investing journey.”
Investor Desk has collaborated with Melbourne-based financial services company OpenInvest, which provides an online platform for investors to track their investment position, transfer additional money and make withdrawals at their discretion. The Investment Committee manages each Model Portfolio, and by doing so, instructs OpenInvest as the Administrator of the Service what to buy and sell on behalf of every investor.
Investor Desk believes transparency to be one of the key pillars of any investment service and as such, regular updates are provided to explain any changes made to holdings. Clients are provided with informative reports, videos, and podcasts to ensure they are equipped with the tools to make more informed investment decisions.
Director at Banyantree Investment Group Max Riaz explained that Investor Desk’s thematic approach to investing enables clients to capitalise on key industry trends across the global economy. “Each of our portfolios is designed for different themes, varying from an income-based portfolio to an ESG portfolio. The unique nature of these thematic portfolios allows clients the choice of the theme and asset allocation which best meets their preference,” Riaz said.
