Intuit QuickBooks releases Receipt Capture and Bill Capture to Australian market

Intuit QuickBooks has released Receipt Capture and Bill Capture to Australian small business (SMBs) users, providing an end-to-end solution for customers to manage their receipts, bills and expenses all in one place.

In the current economic climate, small business owners need to spend time focused on doing actual business – QuickBooks Receipt and Bill Capture removes the arduous and timely process of manually inputting receipt data, replacing it with a quick and simple automated solution to keep track of receipts and bills.

The added QuickBooks Online offerings enable customers to simply enter, attach and track expense receipts and bills captured on their mobile device. Customers can upload them by either dragging and dropping onto QuickBooks Online using a web browser, or by emailing the receipt or bill to QuickBooks for the relevant information and transaction to be created.

Once uploaded, users review and edit the extracted information, create a new expense in QuickBooks and consequently match their receipts and bills to the existing expense recorded.

Not only does the offering provide SMBs with time back in their day, but also provides the added convenience of storing the digital versions in a centralised, easy-to-access location.

“Our small business customers have told us that manually keeping a track of their receipts can be a painfully time-consuming process. QuickBooks Receipt and Bill Capture are solutions that offer an effortless way for small businesses to capture, store and manage their receipts, all in the one place. This offers greater efficiency, giving small businesses more time to focus on key business activities,” said Natira Drayton, Vice President Country Manager, Intuit QuickBooks Australia.

Receipt Capture and Bill Capture is available to QuickBooks Self Employed customers and QuickBooks Online customers. The offering will soon be available as a mobile app, enabling customers to enter and track receipts and bills on the go.
