Grow Finance announces Matthew Stitt as new Queensland BDM
Leading non-bank business lender Grow Finance has today announced the appointment of Matthew Stitt as a new Partner in the Queensland business development team. Stitt will be responsible for collaborating with brokers to deliver asset finance and working capital solutions, including business loans plus asset, trade and invoice finance to SME clients.
Matthew Stitt’s addition is part of the Group’s national sales team expansion required to sustain aggressive growth targets. His appointment coincides with the placement of additional Account Managers to support the BDM network, plus another credit analyst to help expedite and streamline funding.
“Matthew has in-depth asset and equipment finance expertise that aligns directly with Grow’s product portfolio, which we’re continuously refining to meet current and emerging working capital requirements. He also has substantial sales and account management experience within the commercial finance sector that is extremely beneficial,” said David Verschoor, Co-CEO of Grow.
Fellow Co-CEO, Greg Woszczalski added, “We’re delighted to have Matthew on board to extend our reach and actively help brokers deliver more commercial funding solutions to SME clients. Matthew has a strong track record and understands the nuances of commercial finance as well as the Queensland market, compared to other states.”
“My goal is to increase Grow’s market share in Queensland and contribute to the overall growth targets by actively supporting more brokers to provide aligned asset finance and working capital solutions to SMEs. In particular, we’re well aligned to help facilitate the private sale and sale/ lease-back transactions as the demand for used assets continues to soar in the wake of ongoing supply chain delays for new equipment. Fulfilling this immediate funding need represents a significant and widespread opportunity for brokers,” said Stitt.
Originally from Queensland, Matthew Stitt has an innate understanding of the sector and funding specifics from both a lender and broker perspective. Prior to his appointment at Grow, Matthew held various positions at Apollo RV Sales and GoGetta Equipment Funding. He was also a broker at QPF Finance Group.
Stitt will work closely with Ryan McQuilty (Partner, QLD) and in collaboration with the broader sales and marketing team, led by Brett Cheal, Managing Partner.
