Gold Coast startup Send eyeing awards success

A Gold Coast startup is celebrating after three of its co-founders were jointly nominated for a local Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 award.

Ian Cragg, Paul Billing, and Alexandra Rofe, who formulated the idea for what was later to become known as Send, are in the running for the recognition at the ceremony, hosted annually by Business News Australia.

“Simply being nominated means so much to all of us,” said co-founder Billing, who also acts as the company’s CEO. “The company really is going from strength to strength, and with some exciting partnerships both recently signed and in the final stages of pre-launch preparation, we’re all hugely excited about what 2021 has in store.”
