Funding.com.au kick starts 2020 with new hires following $3.7m raise

Following the news of its $3.7m Series A capital raise from local venture capital fund Equity Venture Partners (EVP) late last year, online mortgage marketplace funding.com.au kick starts 2020 with rapid expansion including a number of new hires.

Notably, senior executive Arrin Bowker joins the team as Senior Credit Manager, to oversee the growth in volume and credit quality of transactions within the business and provide close support to the executive team as funding.com.au moves into the next exciting phase of growth.

Arrin has been a career banker for 17 years with experience across business, commercial, corporate and investment banking roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. He started his career with NAB in 2003, followed by a move to London in 2006 where he worked in a range of roles in Debt Capital Markets with HSBC Global Banking and Markets and Investec Bank PLC, including fixed income origination and sales, with a focus on Medium Term Notes (MTN’s) and Asset Backed Securities.

Returning to Australia in 2013 with a young family, Arrin transitioned across to commercial, corporate and institutional relationship management roles in the banking sector based out of Brisbane.  Holding front line roles with NAB, Bankwest, Bank of China and ANZ, Arrin has gained extensive experience in cashflow lending and property financing.

Arrin is joined by a number of new starters, including NSW based Business Development Manager, Zoran Talevski.
