FinTechs facing “funding valley of death” get help from FinTech Sydney

FinTech Sydney launches Deal Flow for FinTechs newsletter for Early Stage fintechs seeking to reach Angel and Seed investors

FinTech Sydney, a not for profit common interest group on Meetup, has launched “Deal Flow for FinTechs” – a monthly newsletter that lists every ‘investor ready’ fintech startup looking for Angel and Seed round funding in Australia.

“Recent surveys have shown the biggest issue for early stage fintechs, especially in the lockdown period, is funding. Access to Angel and Seed investors is problematic, and early stage fintechs need all the help they can get,” said Glen Frost, founder of FinTech Sydney, and the FinTech Awards.

“The FinTech community must pull together and help the early stage fintechs through the ‘funding valley of death’ – the period from creation to the A Round. There are plenty of VCs waiting to help you with you’re a Round, but generally speaking the VCs won’t touch pre-market and Pre-A fintechs – we’re here to change that,” added Frost

FinTechs looking for funding and wanting to be included in the next issue, out on 15th September, should email Glen Frost with the following info:
