FinTech Awards and FinTech Summit announce dates for 2023; partners with Tier 1 law firm, Ashurst
- 8th Annual FinTech Awards 2023 will be held on Thursday 24th August in Sydney
- 10th Annual FinTech Summit 2023 will be held on Thursday 12th October in Sydney
The 8th Annual FinTech Awards is Australia’s oldest and premier awards for the fintech sector; this year the Awards will introduce new categories to reflect the rapid and dynamic changes in the fintech sector, including new categories for Digital Assets, Best New Product/Service, Best FinTech App, and Best Banking App.
“FinTech is an exciting high growth sector – fintech still receives the largest portion of VC funding compared to all other tech verticals – and the FinTech Awards reflects the dynamic growth in core areas of finance such as lending, payments, FX, home loans etc, and also the influence of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, with our Ai in FinTech category as an example. As the FinTech sector has grown, and as banks have embraced fintech, both as competitors and partners, it is a natural evolution for the FinTech Awards to embrace the Banks (ADIs) and include award categories for ADIs, and we look forward to seeing who has the best app; a bank or a fintech,” said Glen Frost, Founder of the FinTech Awards.
Celebrating it’s 10th year in the ecosystem, the one-day FinTech Summit will offer a deep-dive into the top trends in fintech, banking and finance, and those fintechs and Banks who are leading the sector.
The FinTech Awards and the FinTech Summit will be held in partnership with Tier One global law firm Ashurst, at their prestigious Ballroom Conference Centre in Sydney.
