Elemnta achieves ISO 27001 Certification, ensuring robust information security
Elemnta, a leading fintech brand dedicated to revolutionising the advice and wealth sector, have announced its recent attainment of an ISO 27001:2022 Certification, an internationally recognised standard for implementation of enterprise-wide information security management systems (ISMS). The accreditation is a result of Elemnta having met rigorous criteria for safeguarding data and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
Elemnta, which established as a brand in September 2023, has seen strong momentum with its integrated platform offering, which notably includes a collaboration with Colonial First State to enhance their legacy FirstChoice platform by streamlining account set-up time through full data integration. The capability garnered recognition from the SuitabilityHub ‘Platform Market Wrap’, where it was awarded as top integration and automation innovation of the year.
Elementa Chief Executive Officer, Shaun Green, said, “I am proud and grateful for the team’s dedication in achieving this certification. Any best-in-class capability requires equally rigorous data protection, which this milestone serves to validate alongside our role as trusted custodians of information to our clients.
“With ISO 27001 in place, we are better equipped to address fundamental industry challenges with seamless digital integration, all while ensuring the highest standards of data security.”
ISO 27001 is the only global standard through which organisations can meet the various requirements of an ISMS, and consists of a combination of policies, procedures, processes, and systems within an organisation that works to manage information security risks. ISO 27001 is issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
