Education fintech NexPay announces Board appointments including Chair and Chief Risk Governance Officer
NexPay, an Australian founded and renowned leader in global education payments, has announced the appointment of several key executive Board roles including seasoned financial services and technology veteran, David Jonhstone, as Non-Executive Chair, Rajesh Yohannan, the current CEO of Axi Corp, as a Non Executive Board Director, and Clive Wilson, former RBA and big four senior banking executive, to the newly created role of Chief Risk & Governance Officer.
Founded in 2011 NexPay is now the leading global payment solutions platform specialising in secure, fast and cost-effective cross-border education payments and remittances, having helped more than 100,000 students and education businesses across 200 countries complete payments amounting close to 500 million dollars.
The key executive Board appointments follow an impressive 75% YoY growth in FY22/2023 as the company plans for expansion into key international markets including South East Asia, China, India, and Nepal in 2024.
David Johnstone, who is also Chair of Envirosuite (ASX:EVS), brings more than 35 years of experience in financial services and emerging technologies, with extensive merger & acquisition and IPO experience in the UK and Australia. His previous stints include Cooper Investors, Kepa Financial Services, GPS Wealth, Pacific Environment, and Centrepoint Alliance (ASX:CAF).
