Coterie Capital takes stake in Integrated Portfolio Solutions

Coterie Capital announced an investment in Integrated Portfolio Solutions (IPS), a leading alternatives wealth platform, servicing family offices, dealer groups and ultra high net wealth individuals.

IPS was established in 2010 and has grown significantly, with Funds Under Administration (FUA) of approximately $10 billion, compared to FUA of just $3 billion in 2018.

Coterie Capital has partnered with Mantis Funds in establishing a dedicated fund, housing the investment in IPS. Coterie Capital is the investment manager of the fund and will join the Board of IPS while Mantis Funds will be providing distribution and administration services.

Daniel Pi, Managing Director of Coterie Capital said, “We are excited to be partnering with Darryl and the Integrated team. We believe demand for alternative asset products will only continue to grow strongly in the wealth management space and Integrated is uniquely positioned in providing a one stop shop for their investment, administration, tax and reporting requirements.”

Darryl Johnson, Managing Director of Integrated Portfolio Solutions said, “Coterie Capital are a welcome addition to our register and share our view that the platform landscape in Australia is rapidly changing. The days of having to use product structures to solve administration and reporting issues are well and truly behind us. Software with a service that is truly investment agnostic is the platform ‘like’ solution that is gaining significant traction in private client businesses and mainstream financial planning businesses.”

Commenting on the partnership with Mantis Funds, Mr Pi said, “We received a very positive response to our fund structure, whereby investors have full visibility as to the asset before committing capital, thereby allowing them to pick and choose from our curated opportunities. I look forward to working with Tim and the team in
structuring similar funds going forward.”
