Change Financial expands sales team with appointment of two new VPs of Strategic Business Development

Change Financial Limited, a leading ASX-listed (CCA) payments fintech, have announced the appointment of Chaitanya (CK) Kothapalli and Avid (Avi) Pakzad as Vice Presidents, Strategic Business Development.

These key appointments reinforce Change’s focus on accelerating growth and delivering cutting-edge solutions in the payments sector.

Kothapalli’s role will focus on driving new customer acquisition for the Vertexon Payments as a Service (PaaS) platform in Australia, whilst Pakzad will focus on increasing partner engagement and new sales for the PaySim testing tool worldwide.

CK brings extensive experience in fintech and payments, having held leadership roles across product strategy and business development. His deep industry knowledge and strategic mindset will be instrumental in driving Change’s growth initiatives and fostering strong client relationships.

Avi, a seasoned expert in consulting and business development, joins Change with a track record of success in sales and strategic partnerships. His expertise in identifying new opportunities and driving market expansion will assist Change to achieve its growth targets.

Change Financial CEO Tony Sheehan said, “CK and Avi bring a wealth of experience and strategic vision to Change, and we are excited to welcome them to our sales team. Their appointments reflect our focus on growth and innovation, as we continue to enhance our payment solutions and deliver exceptional value to our partners and clients.”

The appointments come after the company had a strong H1 FY25, building on the momentum of the recent New Zealand program launches on the Vertexon PaaS platform. “We are in an exciting period for the business as we look to deliver sustainable and profitable growth in FY25 and beyond,” Sheehan added.

With these new team members, Change is poised to continue its growth trajectory and is committed to delivering seamless, secure and scalable payment solutions to an expanding base of partners and clients.

Both Kothapalli and Pakzad started their new roles on 10th March 2025 and are based in Sydney.
