The ‘Cartier Women’s Initiative’ will be awarding up to $USD100,000 to women entrepreneurs around the globe.

To celebrate and support the cause behind the Cartier Women’s Initiative, Stone & Chalk is hosting a panel of incredibly successful women entrepreneurs to share their experiences in starting and scaling a start-up.

We have put together a highly experienced panel of women entrepreneurs to share their insights and experiences into starting and scaling a start-up.
Mary Ramsay (Head of Innovation Programs from Stone & Chalk) will be moderating the following panel of speakers:
- Bobbi Mahlab, Founder & Managing Director of Mahlab & Juror at the Cartier Women’s Initiative
- Barbara Sharp, CEO & co-founder of Pax Republic
- Debra Taylor, COO & co-founder of OpenSparkz
The session will open at 8am for an 8.15am start, leading with a 45 minute discussion and audience Q&A to end. The event will be followed by a light breakfast and networking with an opportunity to find out more about ‘The Cartier Women’s Initiative.’

The Cartier Women’s Initiative:
The Cartier Women’s Initiative is an annual international business programme that aims to support impact-driven businesses led by women entrepreneurs. Created in 2006 by Cartier in partnership with INSEAD Business School, the Cartier Women’s Initiative selects 21 finalists from 7 regions: Latin America & the Caribbean, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East & North Africa, East Asia and South Asia & Oceania.
Finalists can win up to $US 100,000 in prize money, a scholarship to attend an INSEAD Executive Programme, media visibility, coaching for your business and networking opportunities.
