Australians are buying Bitcoin instantly with New Payments Platform

Australians are now buying Bitcoin instantly via the world’s simplest Bitcoin and Lightning wallet – Wallet of Satoshi. Since the popular mobile application recently enabled integration with the New Payments Platform (NPP), purchasing Bitcoin directly from an Australian Bank account has never been faster.

Wallet of Satoshi has reported a 35% increase in users purchasing Bitcoin, and a staggering 110% increase in the purchased amount since enabling this innovative new technology. And it’s not hard to see why. Using the NPP (PayID / OSKO) network means Bitcoin purchased with Australian Dollars can be usable on the Bitcoin or Lightning Network in mere seconds.

Daniel Alexiuc, CEO of Wallet of Satoshi Pty Ltd, when interviewed this month noted, “We are seeing a huge spike of interest in Buying Bitcoin, driven in part by the massive gains investors have enjoyed this year. We want to make Wallet of Satoshi the simplest, most secure way for Australians unfamiliar with Bitcoin to enter the market.”
