Australian fintech MyVenue powers payment transactions at Miami F1 Grand Prix

As cars raced around the 3.4-mile Hard Rock Stadium circuit, MyVenue’s next-gen point-of-sale (POS) solution processed 211,000 transactions at Miami’s motorsport spectacular.

MyVenue’s ability to keep pace with the intense demands of the high-octane event, in an industry where precision and efficiency are paramount, is exceptional,” said Director of Enterprise Applications for Hard Rock Stadium, Max Stiss. “Their fast, powerful solution helped us deliver a frictionless POS experience to a quarter-million fans.”

“Their native real-time dashboards and cloud-based back office also ensured we had a 360º view of food & beverage sales performance at all times. This allowed us to make quick, accurate game-day decisions that maximized operations.”

In total, nearly 1000 POS terminals with MyVenue’s next-gen solution were deployed across concession and premium hospitality areas.  The expansive Hard Rock Stadium campus required POS terminals to be stationed more than a mile from the central stadium, so MyVenue’s comprehensive offline store-and-forward redundancies ensured credit card transactions could always be accepted.

“While our fast and easy-to-use POS fueled the fast transaction times, just like the pit crews on pit lane, our deeply experienced Project Managers, Product Specialists, and Software Engineers ensured the solution operated like a well-oiled machine,” said MyVenue CEO, Tim Stollznow.

“This combination of experience and product excellence ensured MyVenue once again excelled on the biggest of international sporting stages, in another Changing The Game moment.”
