6. How / why did you start your fintech company?: To enable consumers to take control of their personal data and participate fully in the digital economy reinforcing privacy, protection and empowerment.

Achievements | Recognition as a One World Identity top 100 global influencer 2018 and finalist for the Telstra Business Womens Awards and Finnie’s during 2020. Collaboration | Teaming with world leading data platform firm digi.me to transform global data sharing in an ethical, privacy centric and interoperable manner to accelerate opportunities for Government, Business and Individuals within a trillion dollar personal data market.
8. What’s some advice you’d give to an aspiring start-up?: Be resilient as it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
9. What’s next for your company? And are you looking to expand overseas or stay focused on Australia?:
In partnership with world leading UK-based platform provider digi.me we are currently focused on fast tracking Australian and New Zealand based Fintechs with plug and play Open Banking infrastructure with direct to consumer data access.
We are also looking to spin up Energy and eHealth API connectivity to increase Australian interoperable data sources that will supercharge the market with hyper-personalised services. We see ourselves and digi.me getting a lot closer in the future as we gain momentum on a range of very exciting international interests.
10. What other fintechs or companies do you admire?: Innovative SaaS models that underpin back office productivity solutions to help startup play in the big league like Trello, Monday and many others.
11. What’s the most interesting or funniest moment that’s happened in your company’s lifetime?:
Presenting our Opt Out Privacy IP at the State of California Attorney General’s public hearing on the California Consumer Privacy Act was a personal highlight. We felt it demonstrated that as an Australian technology firm we can hold our own on the Global stage in shifting the data economy towards more ethical and secure data portability models.
