Asia Launch program propels Australian businesses into the Asian market

ACASE, a Melbourne based not-for-profit organisation, launch its flagship Asia Launch Program in 2020. The Asia Launch Program aims to propel burgeoning Australian start-ups, scale-ups, and SMEs into the ever-growing Asian market.

On 1 April 2020, ACASE officially announced the program at the online signing ceremony. The ceremony was held in partnership with the City of Melbourne and the Pukou Hi-Tech Zone in Nanjing, China. For the first round, the program supported nine start-ups by securing further investments and establishing their businesses in one of the high growing regions in China.

The Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne Sally Capp spoke and emphasised the importance of this program at the online signing ceremony, “This is a wonderful opportunity for our scale-up innovators to go global.”

Established in 2015, ACASE has successfully assisted many Australian technology start-ups and businesses to realise their potential to commercialise in the Asian market. The Asia Launch Program presents more opportunities for Australian start-ups and businesses to tap into the highly profitable Asian market.
