Anna Doogan appointed as AssuranceLab’s first Director of Audit Services

Tech-enabled audit firm AssuranceLab has celebrated another milestone with the appointment of Anna Doogan in the newly formed role of Director of Audit Services.

Anna brings more than 25 years of experience conducting internal and external audits in both the public and private sectors to the team.

Throughout her career, Anna has been responsible for projects including developing, rolling out and maintaining audit methodology, providing technical audit and accounting advice, developing and facilitating audit training and undertaking assurance reviews of audit files.

When asked what sparked Anna’s interest in AssuranceLab, she said, “I was looking for something different. Many other roles would mean more of the same. When I saw the job ad for AssuranceLab it looked and felt different.”

“The company values focus on its people and how they are supported. When speaking to the Co-Founders and the Head of People and Culture, they were passionate about the company and upholding said values. This showed that these were more than values on a page.”

In this new role, Anna will be responsible for shaping the future of the audit services team through strategic direction. As part of this, she will manage a diverse portfolio of high-priority initiatives, engaging strategically with stakeholders and cultivating strong client relationships.
