Advisers save time with new Midwinter AdviceOS integration on FirstChoice, developed in collaboration with Elemnta

Colonial First State (CFS) and Bravura today announced new functionality which is now available on the FirstChoice platform that enables advisers to utilise existing client data via seamless integration with Midwinter AdviceOS.

Developed in collaboration with Elemnta, the new functionality enables advisers to open new accounts more efficiently with time-saving pre-population of up to 15 forms, the ability to set up multiple accounts simultaneously, and the process completed via secure and simple digital consent.

“This is another significant enhancement to the award-winning FirstChoice platform which will give advisers more time to focus on their clients,” said Kelly Power, Chief Executive Officer of Colonial First State Superannuation.

“At CFS we are focused on providing advisers with best-in-class technology which has a measurable impact on their operational efficiency so that they can do what they do best, helping their clients achieve their financial goals,” Ms Power added.

Paul Dunn, CEO APAC at Bravura said, “Clients want their advisers to focus on implementing their advice in a timely manner and advisers need to do this as easily as possible. This partnership with CFS removes the back office drag associated with connectivity and account opening by seamlessly connecting with Midwinter AdviceOS. Together, we are working to transform the industry through digitalisation and digitisation.”

The market-leading integration capability of CFS’s FirstChoice platform was introduced in partnership with Elemnta in November 2023. Shortly after its release, the enhancement was recognised by SuitabilityHub’s ‘Platform Market Wrap’ as one of the top integration and automation innovations of the year.

Chief Executive Officer at Elemnta, Shaun Green said, “As former advisers, we have a deep understanding of the challenges within the advice ecosystem. Both CFS and Midwinter share this understanding through their commitment to providing market-leading technology to advisers. This partnership is perfectly aligned with our approach to digitising the advice sector and facilitating delivery of integrated, effective solutions.”

Supported by thousands of advisers across the industry, FirstChoice continues to set the benchmark for value for money and service.

In the 2024 Wealth Insights Service Level Report, FirstChoice was named best value platform for the tenth year in a row, in addition to being ranked first for technical support, ease of doing business and administrative support. Notably, CFS’s FirstTech team achieved top ranking for technical support for the twelfth year running.
