WA pilot program for eInvoicing gets underway

Main Roads WA is set to be the first State Government department in Western Australia to start eInvoicing by undertaking a pilot program with Access Point Provider, Link4.

Electronic invoicing is the automated digital exchange of invoice information directly between a supplier’s and buyer’s software based on an agreed standard.

Robin Sands, CEO of Link4, says, “eInvoicing is safer than emailing a pdf invoice. It’s great that we’re starting to see more state government departments going digital with their procure-to-pay processes. Departments that are adopting eInvoicing are also
seeing benefits such as increased efficiency gains, automation and invoice error reductions.”

The pilot program commences early in 2022 and involves a Link4, KOFAX and Oracle ERP Cloud integration.
