Fractional investing platform DomaCom expands into rural property
ASX-listed DomaCom has taken its fractional property investing platform to the bush after tying up a partnership with rural start-up Cultivate Farms. Under the arrangement, Cultivate Farms will source appropriate properties from farmers looking to retire and match these to aspiring or next generation farmers with DomaCom providing the investment capital through its crowdfunding platform. DomaCom acquires $100m lending facility
Property crowdfunding firm DomaCom and a number of private lenders have partnered to provide the DomaCom Fund with an initial lending line of $100 million. DomaCom Australia Ltd (ASX:DCL) has successfully completed the crowdfunding campaign to fund its first mortgage backed loan. The company’s online platform provides an opportunity for investors to invest in residential and commercial property across Australia through the fractional acquisition of units in a trust. Newcastle based financial advice firm Shartru Wealth Management used the DomaCom platform to acquire a $1.6 million residential property in Melbourne using both debt and equity.
