Australian fintech shortlisted for Tokyo Financial Award 2020

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG), in collaboration with the national government, private sector, and others, is advancing initiatives to revitalize the financial sector in order to win back Tokyo’s position as the top global financial city in Asia. After a highly competitive tender against 90 other companies in 20 other countries, Australian fintech aircrex is amongst the finalists to compete against other promising startups across Japan, US, Estonian, Singapore and France.

Sydney-based fintech company aircrex, provides compelling solutions towards autonomous finance and creates a seamless connection to people’s lives. They are positioning themselves as a bank 3.0 without being a bank. Their vision is to become a lifestyle app rather than another banking app. aircrex’s unique differentiations are moving away from traditional digital banking platforms with ADIs and PFM types.

According to its Co-Founder, Caroline Tran, aircrex is not a neobank and never going to be a bank. aircrex provides the social dynamic within the app which has proven to attract thousands of young Millennials and Gen Z and the optimisation tool that delivers the most competitive & holistic view over financial data & lifestyle choices for their customers. aircrex’s long-term goal is to become a super app, which provides a seamless integration between people, banking, and their lifestyle. aircrex is one of the new rising fintech startups that has been selected to showcase at Hong Kong Fintech week from today 2 November to 6 November 2020 and last week announced top 200 Alibaba Jumpstart 2021. Since the platform was introduced, aircrex has garnered 2,000 organically registrations.
